I’m Lu Meier, a real estate broker with Keller Williams Success Realty, serving Algonquin Township, Barrington Hills, and the northwest suburbs of Chicago.

I specialize in seller representation for families navigating major life transitions — particularly adult children supporting aging parents through downsizing, estate-related home sales, and next-chapter planning.

As a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES®) and Senior Home Coach™, I support families who want to honor their parents’ wishes — whether that means planning to age in place safely or preparing thoughtfully for what may come next. I’m also a member of the National Aging in Place Council (NAIPC) and Illinois Continuity of Care, which allows me to connect families with trusted resources and professionals beyond real estate when additional support is needed.

Seller representation is my core specialty. I guide families through pricing, preparation, marketing, and negotiation with a strategic, consultative approach designed to protect long-term equity while respecting the emotional significance of a longtime home. With over 30 years of professional marketing and negotiation experience, I bring data-informed strategy and strong advocacy to every listing — without pressure or one-size-fits-all solutions.

I also support buyers navigating housing decisions tied to family needs, including downsizing or rightsizing, multigenerational living, relocation closer to loved ones, and first-time homebuyers launching with family support.
